
KATHMANDU: Floods and landslides have completely blocked ten national highways across the country.
According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the blocked roads include the Koshi Highway in Sankhuwasabha, Mechi Highway in Panchthar, Pasang Lhamu Highway in Rasuwa, Kantilokpath in Makwanpur, Darbang Road in Myagdi, East-West Highway in Nawalparasi, Bheri Corridor in Dolpa, Jajarkot–Dolpa–Bheri Corridor in Western Rukum, and the Jayaprithvi Highway in Bajhang.
Meanwhile, several other roads have been partially reopened and are operating one-way due to earlier disruptions.
These include the Banepa–Nala–Bhaktapur road, the Kaligandaki Corridor in Baglung, a section of road in Gulmi, and the Shahid Highway in Rolpa.
